The Story of Our Service Competence: The History of InfoTip

1997

Our predecessor offered repair disks, spare part orders via btx/Datex J, and data exchange via ISDN. InfoTip Service GmbH was founded in Frankfurt am Main in January 1997.

1998 to 2003

InfoTip had more than 5,100 users in the DACH region within just four years after it was founded. The InfoTip PDB product database was introduced, which included product data from around 50 manufacturers.

2004 to 2005

Repair Tracking Service (RTS) was launched, our most successful product to date. This service platform can coordinate and process central repairs.

2006 to 2012

RTS has more than 20,000 registered users throughout Europe. In 2011, we completed the 2,000,000th order for RTS. Recall Management System (RMS) was introduced for recall actions in 2012.

2013 to 2020

Global dissemination of InfoTip products and services. InfoTip was ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015 certified to continuously improve security and reliability in compliance with the GDPR. Our certifications are regularly updated through re-certifications.

2021 to Present

Certification as a Salesforce Consulting partner. Planning and implementing of Salesforce products became a new business area. Further development of innovative IT solutions for service management.
